Tyler

Tyler Nagel is a 9-year-old boy with a diagnosis of Congenital Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a seizure disorder. Alongside his parents and supportive older brother, Tyler set out on a unique Alaska adventure that pushed his comfort zone in the best possible way. For the first time ever, Tyler experienced a small plane flight (via River Rock Lodge) and a boat ride as his family traveled to Big River Lakes, Alaska, to witness brown bears in their natural habitat. What began as a step into the unknown became a meaningful, joy-filled experience for the entire family. This film captures more than wildlife and scenery — it highlights family connection, courage, trust, and access to outdoor adventure for families in the special-needs community. With the right support, unforgettable experiences are possible.

“We had a wonderful experience with every step of our adventure - from planning, to preparation, to follow up. It was so special to talk with Jenah and be part of the process to find an adventure especially for our child and family to all enjoy together. We received helpful communication about what to pack and expect for our adventure. While we were nervous for the family interview, Dan was so easy to talk to - we all really ended up enjoying that as well. This adventure brought our family closer together and helped us focus on fun and connections instead of barriers and challenges!” - Tara, Tyler’s Mom
